My Story.
 My Mission.

Personal Trainer since 2000. I Majored in Biological and Physical Science from University of Houston. Afterwards I became a Physical Therapy Aide and had the opportunity of working at the Methodist Hospital Physical Therapy Department for over 200 hours. I also obtained Personal Training Certifications from ACE, PFIT (Baylor Sports Medicine Personal Training Certification).

I am a mother of four who has realized success with a corporate career, managed a family, and accomplished my fitness goals. It is my passion for fitness that allows me to coach my clients into a healthy lifestyle so that they can achieve their personal, professional, and fitness goals. I have competed in the MS-150, 5K and 10K runs, and sprint triathlons. Today my goal is to compete in additional Triathlons in my native country (Costa Rica). I believe that balance is essential to a healthy lifestyle. It is my passion for fitness that allows me to coach my clients both in English or Spanish into a good balance between a busy life and a fitness lifestyle. It is my calling to coach adults into becoming the best they can be. I enjoy working with people of all ages, all fitness levels and all abilities.

I specialized in working with healthy adults, youth, older adults and special populations. I have experience with healthy weight loss management programs for both men and women, senior fitness, and clients with health concerns such as arthritis, joint issues, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, osteoporosis, spina bifida, low back pain, sciatica, piriformis syndrome, Parkinson, lupus, stroke patients, cancer patients, back injuries, hip replacement, knee replacement. I also deal with the effects of stress, the losses of strength and functional ability. My purpose is to maintain or improve your quality of life.

When you train with me you can expect to get a challenging, dynamic and fun workout. My programs are designed by the two of us working together, based on your current health, specific fitness level and performance goals, strengths and weaknesses. Expect to try many different training tools and moves that keep it exciting and keep your fitness level rising. Many times people want to start a training program but are concerned about current or past injuries. I can help you move past these obstacles by building on what you can do successfully. You will always be glad you came to train with me. My goal is to Enhance your Health & Fitness Lifestyle.

I enjoy creating new exercises, routines, and programs using a variety of equipment and modalities, new and old exercises are combined in various sequences, resulting in clients increase muscular strength/ tone/endurance, aerobic endurance, core strength, balance and metabolism. Workouts are adjusted to suit the needs/skills/abilities of each client through the use of free weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, bands, stability balls, balance boards, Bosu, “step bench,” squat rack, and many other things.

Fitness Lifestyle will customize a Strength Training Program that is adequate to your age, ability, fitness level, goals, personal interests and time and equipment availability. Our trainers will customize an exercise routine that can be very effective and right for you.

Mobility

Fitness Lifestyle trainers with also incorporate mobility and flexibility work to the clients routines.  Our goals is to enhance the execution of exercises, boost athletic performance, and improve their ability to efficiently carry out everyday activities.

Fitness Lifestyle trainers will help you create a personalized weight loss program that will help you achieve long term lifestyle changes.

Fitness Lifestyle trainers will train you at your home, apartment gym, office, park, or a private gym I have access to. Our sessions will be combinations of calisthenics, yoga, pilates, weights, bands, flexibility, balance.
